Leigh Hough, President and Co-Founder
Ms. Hough provides consulting in organizational issues, change management and project launch, intervention and support. Prior to founding Mornington, Leigh worked for W.R. Grace and Company, first in its Dewey and Almy Chemical unit in Massachusetts, and then at its corporate headquarters in Boca Raton. She implemented an MRPII package in support of manufacturing and administrative functions in the US and the UK, and was instrumental in the re-organization of sales support functions in both geographies. Transferred to corporate headquarters to serve as Financial Systems Architect, she played a key role in the selection of financial systems to support the company’s move to common systems and shared services. Leigh managed Grace corporate systems, including financial, legal and human resources business applications, while re-structuring of the information systems group. During a period of high growth at Wang Laboratories, Inc. Leigh was responsible for forecasting, production planning, material procurement and shipping/receiving for a disk assembly plant and for Wang’s largest component and assembly manufacturing operation. Asked to expand a pilot MRP system to all of Wang’s domestic operations, Leigh completed the project and joined a newly-formed internal Information Technology consulting group, providing project management, analysis, project turnaround and training services to Wang locations worldwide. Leigh’s last accomplishment for Wang was the replacement of their global purchasing system with a custom-developed purchasing application to support $1 billion in annual material and service procurement. Leigh holds a BA in English and History from Wellesley College in Wellesley, and an MBA from the Simmons College Graduate School of Management in Boston. Leigh is Certified in Production and Inventory Management by the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
