The firm is a provider of training and coaching services
for solution selling and sales support. The firm wished to
provide a series of Project Management modules to be delivered
in two-day increments; classroom training is bundled with
forty hours of follow-on coaching/consulting for participants
and/or sponsors. Courses are designed to be delivered to multiple
participants from one firm IT professionals, engineers,
system end-users with responsibility for one or more projects.
Courses may be adapted for public delivery to
multiple firms.
Morningtons role was to provide its extensive subject
matter expertise and experience in Project Management to design,
develop and deliver three Project Management courses for the
clients of the training/coaching service provider:
Real Life Project Management:
2 classroom days; 40 hours of follow on coaching and mentoring.
Objective: Enable project
managers, business analysts and key user representatives to
successfully manage projects and deliver results on-time,
on-budget and at the highest quality. Enable management to
understand and control projects executed in their area of
responsibility.
Advanced Multi-Project and Program
Management: 1.5 classroom days; 30 hours of follow
on coaching and mentoring.
Objective: Enable Senior
and Middle Management in charge of multiple initiatives to
successfully conduct them in parallel. Link the project planning
process to the capital distribution and value creation approach
of the firm.
Success with Part-Time and Cross-Functional
Teams: 1 classroom day; 12 hours of follow on coaching
and mentoring.
Objective: Enable Project
Managers, Department Managers, key user representatives and
other group leaders to manage initiatives involving part-time
resources from multiple functions.
